I'm back!

I’m back! I know, and I apologise. It’s almost been a year since my last post, but don’t fret – I haven’t given up on this yet. I’ve decided to take things slowly for now and hopefully, get myself and this blog back on track.

But what a long, but fun-filled, anime-packed hiatus it has been! I thoroughly enjoyed many a series during the three season break, such as Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou, Mahouka, Kuroko S2, Hitsugi no Chaika, and No Game No Life (hands down Anime of the Year), to name a few. There are still so many I haven’t yet watched and my backlog has grown so long that I don’t think I will ever catch up at the rate it is filling (and that’s a good thing!). At the moment, I am eagerly waiting for the winter season to end so I can finally dig into the many spring leftovers (SAO II, Akuma no Riddle) and winter single-cours (Fate/Stay Night Part I) that I have painstakingly kept from myself, for their ultimate, well-deserved marathon. The temptation has been agonising but I have persevered in my patience so far – the end is in sight with only one month to go!

I know that I wanted this blog to be focused on anime and manga, but recently, I have been introduced to the wonderful world of visual novels. Such amazing literature shouldn’t go unnoticed, especially when they heavily share and influence the world of anime and manga, so guess what? Let’s explore the animangaVN universe together! In general, visual novels take a long time to complete, and depending on what you read and how you dedicate your time, it could take from days to months to finish. So in terms of actual discussion, there will most likely be a long break between blog posts on different visual novels, as I find the time to read them.

Adding visual novels into discussions doesn’t stop there. I might add in a few new topics and surprises here and there and expand this blog out of its anime-manga shell – who knows? What I can say for certain is that the future awaits, mayhap it be good or bad. I may conquer the world with literary wonder, or venture once again into the depths of hibernation. Nevertheless, let us look forward to the what is to come!
